WGI World Championship Practice Venue Information

Includes the following: Belmont HS, Dunbar HS, Meadowdale HS, Ponitz Career Technology Center, Stivers School for the Arts, and Thurgood Marshall HS

Groups may arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled practice start time. If group is the first one in the building, the building will be open 5-10 minutes prior to your start time. Start times for these practice venues vary but are no earlier than 6 am when school is not in session and no earlier than 3 pm when school is in session. Cars, large vehicles, buses, box trucks and semi trailers may all park in the parking lot adjacent to the venue. WGI has reserved the MAIN GYMNASIUM in all of these buildings. Prior to the groups' scheduled practice start time, groups may use interior space to do the following:

o Use the restroom o Load in their equipment to wait for their available practice space After the group's practice time has concluded, groups may use the facility restrooms to prepare for their performance. (Please remember to clean up after yourselves.) Basketball goals may be stationary, please ask the custodian on duty if they are down upon your arrival. Please do not bring any food or drink into any of these facilities.
