2024-2025 COLLEGE NOW ENROLLMENT GUIDE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

JCCC's College Now program provides high school students with an opportunity to earn college credit through concurrent enrollment while completing their high school requirements.

1. APPLY for admission once by going to admissions.jccc.edu to start your application.

To ensure your eligibility to enroll before the deadline, apply no later than the priority date listed on the calendar in this publication. When your application is processed, you will receive an email that includes your JCCC ID number and login information.

2. Fulfill Placement Requirements if required (ex., English, math, science, etc.) JCCC offers several pathways for students who need to enroll in courses that have a placement requirement. For placement requirements go to jccc.edu/CollegeNowPlacement.

If you have a qualifying ACT score, click the Upload Test Scores button. If you have a qualifying unweighted high school GPA, click the Upload High School Transcript button. If you do not have a qualifying ACT score, high school GPA or AP test score, click the Schedule Placement Test button to schedule an appointment to take the appropriate placement test at JCCC. You will still need to enroll in the class after your placement waiver is issued or after you test and earn a qualifying score.

3. Enroll in classes online or by phone, for enrollment deadline dates, see the calendar in this publication.

? Once the schedule becomes available online, go to jccc.edu/collegenow and click the College Now Class Schedule and Counselors link on the left toolbar to look up the courses available at your high school. Write down the five-digit CRN numbers of the courses you plan to enroll in.

? Log in to MyJCCC, select the Enroll and Pay card, then click Add/Drop Classes links. Select the term "Credit Fall" for fall semester or yearlong courses or "Credit Spring" for spring semester courses.

The JCCC Board of Trustees has the right to change the cost per credit hour without notice. *Metro rate applies only to students residing in zip codes starting with 640 or 641. Tuition for courses designated as Excel in CTE will be waived for Kansas residents.

Select the Enter CRNs tab on the top left, enter the five-digit CRN numbers for your courses, click Add to Summary, then click Agree & Submit.

? Confirm that your courses show a status of Registered to ensure your enrollment was successful.

4. Pay tuition at the time of enrollment. Tuition may be paid online by logging in to MyFinances link. No payments can be accepted by phone. Students are financially responsible for all charges on their account.
