February is Black History month. During that month we will learn

about and discuss some of the contributions of famous African American Mathematics.

In addition, each student will create informative baseball cards about an African Americans. This card will be graded according to the attached rubric.

Please follow it carefully.

Please discuss the attached list of African Americans with your parent

and you will choose 4 possible people that you would be interested in

learning about. I the teacher, Ms. Burrell, will select the person on a first

come, first serve basis.
