Caring for the Heart New England

December 2016
Dear Friend,
We want to extend special holiday greetings to each of you. We are so thankful that the Lord Jesus, “though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” (Phil. 2:6-8) We are amazed that All-Mighty God was willing to endure the frailties and limitations of human flesh, being born as a baby so that He could grow up to die in our place on the cross. Because of that great fact, we can accept God’s great gift of salvation, which means we now have a relationship with God that will last for all eternity. It also means that same baby born in a stable two thousand years ago is our Savior and Shepherd who cares for our hearts every day. We trust that this special time of year causes you to thank God for His greatest gift – His Son.
We have much for which to be thankful here at Caring for the Heart – New England. We saw God provide in number of ways during the past year. He allowed us the privilege of counseling dozens of couples and individuals from all over the northeastern United States. We never grow tired of seeing hearts and relationships healed when we lead people to Jesus in prayer. In May God provided so that we could take more training at Caring for the Heart Ministries in Colorado Springs, CO. In October we held the first Caring for the Heart – New England Fall Banquet. It was a great evening of music, testimonies and vision-sharing, which was attended by approximately 90 people. Then in November He provided so that we could attend the Caring for the Heart Annual Conference in Palm Bay, FL, where we were privileged to teach two workshops.
Because of God’s gift to us, many of us enjoy giving special gifts to ministries at this time of year. So we are enclosing Caring for the Heart – New England’s “Christmas List”. This is a list of special needs we face as a ministry. Since CFTH-NE is not fully supported at this time, the only way we can cover these costs is by specially designated gifts. If the Lord lays it on your heart to help with any of these needs, please, return the enclosed card with your gift. Checks should be made out to “Caring for the Heart – New England” or simply “CFTH-NE”. CFTH-NE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all gifts are tax-deductible.
May you and your family have a blessed CHRISTmas!
Called to Care,
Greg & Wendy
