Nursing Assistant State Registries

Nursing assistants are a mobile group. If a nursing assistant comes to you from another state, you must check that state’s registry to verify certification and inquire whether abuse or other complaints have been lodged against the nursing assistant. The following “Summary of State Agencies for Nurse Aide Training Programs” was compiled by the National Network of Career Nursing Assistants in 2006. It contains the latest information received from state agencies for nurse aide training programs. You can contact your state directly for information about nursing assistant reciprocity, testing, and training. Please help keep this list up to date: send changes to cnajeni@.
