The following issues have been fixed in this release of Symantec Encryption Desktop for Windows. Symantec Encryption Desktop ? Users can now successfully use the French (AZERTY) keyboard layout and authenticate at PGP BootGuard on the

Dell Latitude (3400, 5480, 5490, 7390) and Dell Precision (5520) systems running Windows 10. [4257044] ? The PGP Services no longer stop intermittently and users can send emails successfully when an USB drive encrypted

with Symantec Drive Encryption is connected to a Windows system. [4245899] ? The Code Signing Certificate of the Symantec Encryption Desktop for Windows MSI file no longer contains the contact

email address information for the certificate. [ 4266532] PGP Messaging ? Users running Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 with Cached Exchange Mode disabled can now use the Encrypt and

Sign buttons to encrypt and send emails successfully. [4266384] PGP Zip ? Users can now successfully decrypt a PGP Zip file that is larger than 32 KB in size and is encrypted using the Bzip2

compression. [4258389] ? PGP Zip no longer stops working when adding an Active Directory group, containing 16 or more users, to a PGP Zip

Known issue

The following is the known issue in this release of Symantec Encryption Desktop for Windows: Incompatibility of PGP Viewer with Outlook 64-bit and Office Professional Plus 2013 or later (Click-to-Run): [4268499] PGP Viewer is a 32-bit application. PGP Viewer is not compatible with a 64-bit version of Outlook. PGP Viewer is also not compatible with a Click-to-Run version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 or later. Therefore, when PGP Viewer is installed with a 64-bit version of Outlook or with a Click-to-Run version of Office Professional Plus 2013 or later, PGP Viewer cannot decrypt PGP encrypted emails.
