The Aboriginal Dental Assistant Trainee program will provide both practical and theoretical training (through Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting via RMIT) and the opportunity for ongoing permanent employment. RMIT Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting is 1 year part time with 6x 1 week blocks over 12 months. traineeship has been made possible through Koolin Balit Stronger Skilled Workforce Training Grants Program 2016-17 to provide an opportunity to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people to enter into the health sector.
