Step 1: Write your quick answers (or perhaps just a few bulleted points) for each of the following questions:

1. Describe in detail your ideal customer? (demographic & psychographic characteristics) 2. What are the biggest sources of pain that your ideal customer needs to resolve? List them out and

identify the ones that you can help them solve. 3. Why don't the standard solutions work? 4. What have they tried that has not worked? 5. What does your Ideal customer need to do instead? 6. Why are you so good at fixing the problem that your Ideal Customer faces? What specialty do you bring

to them? 7. What are the specific results that your customer will experience from working with you (through your

program, service or product)? Please describe the transformation they will experience. 8. Because of these results, what other benefits will your client realize from your program? 9. What would be the cost to your client if he or she does not accept your offer? 10. When is your Ideal Customer most likely to search for you? 11. Where, specifically, does your Ideal Customer find you? 12. List the steps they need to take (or a summary of what they need to know) to make the transformation

that you help them with.

Step 2: Write a detailed "Ideal Customer Story" based on your answers to the above questions.
