Wedding Planner Project/Website
Wedding Planner Project/Website
You and your partner have started a wedding planning service. You know if you’re good, you can make some serious cash. The first step is to create a website advertising your services.
Website must have:
• Home Page with name of company, and what you do
• Services you offer—Wedding planning, honeymoon planning, Photography—Have Pictures/Packages—each should have its own page
Your potential first client is __________________________. She has given you the opportunity to give a proposal for her wedding (along with others).
Here is what she wants:
This is the information you need or will need to find out from your client:
• Budget: $50,000 for wedding, $10,000 for honeymoon
• Place: Figure out where she wants to have the wedding—Aiken? The beach? The mountains?
• Honeymoon: Where would she want to go? They want you to plan this for them --$10,000 is the budget
• Invitations—She wants you to design the invitations—They need to have Time/Place/Event/RSVP
• Attire—They hate the idea of choosing attire—you pick something for them—wedding dress/bridesmaids dress and grooms/groomsman attire—
• The rehearsal/reception—The rehearsal dinner, you will need to feed 30 people. The reception, you will need a location big enough for 125 guest, and you need to feed all of them—
• A breakdown of the budget—The last slide should tell how you spent the $50,000 for the wedding and the $10,000 for the honeymoon
PowerPoint: Note—please include pictures
• Slide 1: Name of Bride/Wedding Time and Place
• Slide 2: Info on town/venue where they are getting married: include local motels/restaurants/info about venue
