EXT. NIGHT CLUB REX – NIGHT

It is 2:00 a.m. in New York City, and the party is just getting started in Club Rex, a well known club for drug dealers as well as drug users.

Its exterior is dim lit, and looks like almost any other brick 2 story building within New York City, it has two walls that go for 25 feet each, and in the middle lye two massive brown colored doors.

The block itself, is dingy. It has the occasional scattered few walk along the garbage coated side walk that is Rook Street. Opposite the club are two family detached homes, some look run down, others well kept, and some with gated windows while others do not.

The air itself is filled with dance music from the club; which is not one of the attractive things that has people running to live anywhere near there. So therefore many people who do live near Club Rex have petitioned for them to be closed.

P.O.V NIGHT CLUB REX – CONTINUIS

As the camera moves forward, the two large door’s open to reveal a extremely large two story party central area. Through the jam packed crowed of intoxicated people, a large square bar can be seen. The bar contains all the usual things as well as two clean cut young guy’s flipping the bottles and pouring the drinks. Then on the right side wall a large stage is set up where the dj plays his music. The dj at the present moment has his head phones leaning on his shoulder as his ear presses up against it, so that his hands are free to change the disc. As well as many intelligent lights beaming off of everything. Finally in the back is a small door.

The camera then again moves forward to now actually go through the massive crowed, people are holding there drinks up dancing, and some doing drugs. We sweep by the bar, where a person is sniffing some cocaine, no one even looks, it’s the natural thing to do, then we go through the crowed some more until we reach the door, where a women’s hand comes down, she is dancing on top of a table.

GIRL ONE

(Seductive)

Ya wanna dance.

The door in the back then opens to reveal a small office, not a lot in it, a desk, file cabinet, stack of papers, and a folding chair on the side of the desk. Nothing compared to what was seen in the main clubbing area.

Then two guys who are at the sides of the desk go over to the still unknown man with open arms, where they then seemingly check him for weapons. They both move to the side, to reveal a fat white fellow in a nice suit, by the name of Tony, he is the owner of the club, as we well as a major drug dealer.

Tony with a smile on his face...

A large brief case is set down on the desk, and then opened, by the still unknown man. Then Tony takes out a little baggy it contains a white powder substance, possibly cocaine he opens the bag then sticks his pinky in it and licks his pinky.

He sits back in his chair, and then looks up to the still unknown man...

TONY

Good as always.

Tony then passes the brief case to one of the large associates who counts the amount of bags.

Now we begin to see the back of Dave’s head, he is a large club as well as person to person drug dealer. He is 6’0, pretty thin, works out a little; all and all he is in good shape. His jet black hair always combed back, with tanned face and tattooed upper arm. He is also dressed in a suit, with out the jacket.

Dave then takes a chair from the side of the desk and sits down upon it.

One of the muscular men who were counting looks over to his boss.

MUSCULAR MAN #1

There’s one missing.

DAVE

I thought it was all there, are you

Sure.

MUSCULAR MAN #1

(Intimidating)

Yea, I’m sure.

DAVE

(Directed at Tony)

Tony I’m sorry I thought it was all

There.

TONY

It’s all right, shit happens.

A brief case similar in looks is brought up from behind the desk by Tony. Tony opens up the brief case and takes out a couple of hundreds, and then slides it over to Dave.

TONY (CONT’D)

(As Tony puts the

money in his pocket)

Hope you don’t mind.

Dave then opens the suit case to find all twenties and hundreds. All in neat stacks from one end of the brief case to the other.

With a quick and sudden action the door is abruptly open by a club employee. A medium height and build guy, not a hair out of place.

EMPLOYEE #1

We got another one.

Everyone looks over to him in almost shock. Then Tony with a smile back on his face.

Then the employee taken back for some reason, as if he knows what is going on.

EMPLOYEE #1

A guy.

TONY

Well take him to the hospital.

INT. NIGHT CLUB REX – MOMENTS LATER

A person is on the floor convulsing and such, obviously he has fallen victim to a over dose, it is a young person no more than 25.

Club.

The guy is hoisted up by the employee and another man, they bring him out of a club and through a back exit.

The alley has two large buildings on either side of it, the alley is 7 ft. in width at the end of it next to a chain linked fence, there is a large pile of garbage, everything in the alley is dirty and wet.

EXT. THE AMBULANCE – CONTINUIS

The ambulance door’s open wide as the fake E.M.T’s, throw the lifeless body of the victim into the pile of garbage.

CUT TO:

INT. CUMBRO’S BATHROOM – MORNING

Mike is 17, he has jet black hair, slender and around 5’11”. Mike is known as a good boy gone wrong in life. This is because drugs have basically become his life.

Mike is getting ready for school, he is in the family bathroom, washing his face, it is easily seen that he used drugs the night before; he is basically drained of energy as he looks into the bathroom mirror splashing water on his face. He is wearing a white t-shirt and boxers.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OF THE HOUSE – LATER

CUT TO:

P.O.V FATHERS BEDROOM – CONTINUIS

The bedroom is a modest size, with a bed for the centerpiece and other such regular things in there, yet the father is know where to be found. The bed sheets are kept in a neat fold the same way it was the day before, and the closet door’s held in the same position, everything is just the same.

Mike’s face shows a site of relief. He closes the door to the same position in which he found it and continues to walk out the door.

EXT. SIDE WALK – LATER

With the music of the theme song playing...

It is a pleasant day out, not to be said for the neighborhood in which it is in. Mike is walking to school, as he walks puddles lye on the street, as well as garbage. Houses with gates surrounding it. A couple of guy’s playing dice on the sidewalk, as a cop car passes by.

As Mike walks a little frothier laying in wait is Eric, Mike’s close friend as well as bad influence. Eric is by a 6 story building with his foot up on the wall, as Mike comes up to him, they give each other a hood like hug.

ERIC

Yo, you look plastered man, what ya

MIKE

He wasn’t home.

ERIC

MIKE (CONT’D)

What’s been up with you!

ERIC

Same shit.

MIKE

What’s going on with your parents?

ERIC

Fucking fighting.

Eric looks over at Mike.

ERIC (CONT’D)

Probably getting a divorce.

MIKE

Sorry man.

As they pass up the alley way in which the victim from the club was thrown in and now is accidentally being dumped into a garbage truck.

ERIC

ERIC (CONT’D)

Eric raises his hand, while holding his stomach.

The nurse.

ENGLISH TEACHER

Of course.

As Eric goes to get his jacket, he looks over to Mike, then goes to the teacher, whom writes out a hall way pass.

ENGLISH TEACHER (CONT’D)

DAVE (CONT’D)

Answer me now, I asked what the fuck

Eric starts to laugh, unaware in his own mind of what is happening. Dave sees this, and immediately goes to Eric and grabs him by his shirt and throws him out of the room.

As Dave is throwing Eric out of the room...

DAVE (CONT’D)

Get the fuck out of here.

Dave then slams the door behind him.

He then once again turns his attention to Mike.

DAVE (CONT’D)

Not only did you steal from me, but

He then throws the baggy and whatever is left in it, up against the wall.

DAVE (CONT’D)

DAVE (CONT’D)

Huh?

MIKE

But...

DAVE

But nothing, but nothing.

A chair gets in his way, which is next to Mike’s computer; Dave picks it up the chair and throws it across the room.
