Child Foster Care ReportTwo new optional columns have been added to the Child Foster Care Claims grids – Basic Amount and Supplemental Amount. These amounts are calculated by multiplying the Basic Per Diem and Supplemental Per Diem times the number of units on claims with service dates starting 07/01/2017. New proofing message #1188 – Adjustment Rule Code Invalid with Maintenance Claim has been added to Payment Proofing and Claimed Payment Proofing. This message will identify claims where a “Maintenance” claim does not exist any time during the service dates for the same vendor, Rule Code and License #. The APS-Notice of Finding Letter and Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Investigation Summary were updated to merge the Allegation/Determination findings text block. Note: An RTF header needs to be attached to these documents. The APS-Notice of Findings Letter Template selection logic was changed so it runs off a retention period merge field. In previous releases the user answered a series of prompts to select the correct document. This process is now automated and the user is required to enter findings in the APS Maltreatment before creating the document. Three alleged perpetrators can be merged into the Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Investigation Summary.The APS-Notice of Findings Letter merges one addressee name, not two.The Voluntary Out-of-Home Placement Agreement Non-Indian Child DHS-1776 is updated to remove an unnecessary group of merge fields in the middle of the document. Healthcare ClaimingAdditions and changes to several Claim Rate Adjustment Reason codes and two Remittance Adjustment Reason codes. Description change to HCPCS/Modifier T2038 to Trans Serv Deposits/Moving Exp. IV-E EligibilityMAXIS has added a new Reimbursability test for “Reasonable Efforts to Prevent Placement” that will be sent to SSIS via the interface. This will prevent claiming Title IV-E Reimbursability for payments made for service dates that fall in a month prior to the month in which the judicial determination of Reasonable Efforts to Prevent Placement was made by the court for initially court ordered placements. This will be implemented when V17.2 is installed statewide. Out-of-Home Placement Plans The Out- of Home- Placement Plans (OHPP) include extensive updates that will be detailed in a DHS bulletin. Previous versions of the OHPPs can be copied into the new format; however, due to the extensive updates, some of the information from the previous OHPP will not display on the newly copied OHPP.? Remind users to edit the “Setup” tab and review all content entered on the “Document” tab screens. ?In addition to policy requested changes, a new dynamic grid is implemented on two screens for each OHPP variation – “Face to Face Visits” and “Other Contacts”. The new grids allow adding and removing rows with no maximum number stipulated.? The intent is to gradually add this new dynamic grid to other state service plans in a future release.The Out of Home Placement Plan Help document is updated on County Link. OHPP Help - A guide to completing the Out-of-home Placement PlanPaymentsThe Potentially Eligible Northstar Payments report is available from the Payments category in General Reports. The report identifies potentially eligible Northstar Payments that did not create a claim. Summary data provides a breakdown of payments for Family Foster Care (Services 180/181) and EFC-SIL (Service 188). The report assists in analyzing the costs included and excluded in the Northstar Care Fiscal Reconciliation. The summary includes sums and percentages claimed vs. not claimed, summary of payments not claimed by reason and summary of payments not claimed by Special Cost Code. It includes the ability to directly navigate to most screens listed. Note that not all screens are included in this log and reports will be added in a future release. SSIS Administration, User screen: 20 characters can now be entered in the SSIS User ID field. ................
