General Information:

The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Science prepares the graduate for professional practice in health-related settings. The program includes a foundation in general education as well as a broad understanding of health care delivery systems.

The Sports Health & Wellness Promotion track offers 4 different options:

Athletic Trainers held about 17,000 jobs in 2006.

Physical Therapists held about 173,000 jobs in 2006.

Median annual earnings of wage-and-salary athletic trainers (2006): $36,560

Median annual earnings of physical therapists (2006): $66,200

Median annual earnings of fitness trainers (2006): $25,910

Median annual earnings of health educators (2006): $41,330

Employment of Athletic Trainers is expected to grow 24% from 2006-2016.
