Advanced Math Online LearningWeek of April 20-24Materials needed: ruler, yardstick, measuring tape, centimeter ruler and meterstick All digital resources must be accessed through your child’s Class link. *For the digital math book, click the McGraw-Hill Connect Ed app from Class link. Click the drop down to Chapter 11 and to access each lesson. Within each lesson, you can click the eBook to access the workbook pages. Also, check out the resources within each lesson which includes learning videos, printable reteaching pages, games, and additional activities. Feel free to explore as much or as little as time allows each day. Student will need to explain their thinking on most of the questions. Have them explain their thinking and discuss their thought process. Monday Problem of the day: There are 5 baseball games scheduled in April and 9 games in May. Three games in early April are cancelled because of rain. Two games are added in May on days when it is not raining. How many games are played? How many games were originally planned? When you use this method, we are estimating for yards, your parents might do the same with their foot. They are estimating feet.
