With over 180,000 alumni in over 150 countries we have a diverse community of fellow Brighton graduates to engage with the university and current students. The team is also launching a new Student Potential Fund that aims to create equity for all our students by raising funds that will attract talented and diverse students, help students achieve their learning and career goals, and participate fully in their university experience. This Intern role will provide content creation and analysis of digital communication performance for two key projects:Our first Giving Day that will take place online and aims to raise funds for the Student Potential Fund. An Alumni Survey that aims to better understand the needs of our graduates and interests in engaging with their university.As well as providing support across our wider programme of digital engagement with alumni, staff, students and donors. Main areas of responsibilityAssisting with writing and publishing content for different audiences on behalf of the PAE team, across a range of communication channels and platforms, in a style/tone that speaks to the audience and that also fits the particular brief or project (drawing on your recent experience of being a student where applicable).Curating, sharing and promoting relevant content from social media accounts across the alumni community, uplifting our wider social media presence. To develop campaign content and messaging appropriate to a range of markets and audiences which can be deployed across a range of channels. Developing evidence-informed approaches and campaign objectives, implementing, adapting and evaluating activity.Identifying content and messaging for monthly e-newsletters, considering data segmentation and audiences. To ensure all campaigns are developed and executed in line with the University of Brighton brand.To structure content, create new web pages and edit existing web pages, making best use of guidelines and templates provided using the university’s website content management system (CMS).
