A medical device start-up located in Caesarea region has an immediate need for a R&D Manager, to lead its product development activities in the field of protein/peptide crosslinking.

Job Description:

? Leading R&D efforts of company from its inception to develop a range of protein-based medical device products

? Building and implementing a detailed biochemical laboratory research work plan to fulfill company's research objectives

? Working to improve and expand company's novel protein cross linking formulation

? Developing prototypes for range of products based on company's technology

? Collaborating with medical professionals to run pre-clinical and clinical testing of prototypes

? Managing multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams to develop several products in parallel

? Hosting audits from third parties and regulatory agencies

Job Requirements:

A successful candidate will have: ? A profound knowledge of Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering. Experience working with protein/peptide crosslinking or other biopolymers is a strong advantage ? A Master's degree in a scientific discipline from an accredited college/university and 3+ years of experience or PhD with 1+ years of relevant experience in medical device and/or pharma/biotech ? An inquiring mind, intense curiosity, and strong desire to innovate in the medical device field ? Proven experience as a project manager with good supervisory and teamwork skills in a fast faced and challenging environment ? A strong grasp of cGMP standards and requirements in FDA and EU regulated industries
