A quick guide to paying your Discovery Card account

How to set up or change a debit order to pay your Discovery Card account

It's easy to set up or change a debit order to conveniently pay your credit card account.

Follow these easy steps:

01 Log in to your new-look website online.discovery.bank ? if you don't have login details please choose REGISTER.

Once you log in, we may ask you to verify some personal information. We'll then display the default ACCOUNTS page, which lists your accounts.

03 Select Debit order on the account tile for the credit card account you want to pay.

04 Select Create debit order or Edit debit order.

Choose a payment option and add the necessary details. You can choose from the following options: Minimum amount due, fixed amount, statement balance or percentage of statement balance.

06 Select the account you want to pay from. Either a Discovery Bank account or an account from another bank.

07 Agree to the terms and conditions.

How to pay your Discovery Card account from another bank

It's easy to make a payment from another bank as you would for any other recipient.

Follow these easy steps:

01 Go to the other bank's account that you're paying from and find the option to create or add a new beneficiary (recipient).

Add the following details:

Beneficiary name You can add a recipient name of your choosing.

Bank name Discovery Bank

Branch code 679000

Account number This is your new 11-digit account number (not your 16-digit card number).

You can find your new account number by logging in to your new-look website online.discovery.bank and viewing the default ACCOUNTS page. You will see your new 11-digit account number in the account tile for the credit card account you want to pay.

Your monthly statements also have your new account number.

Account type Select Current or Cheque account if your bank needs an account type.

03 You can add a reference if you'd like.

04 Save these details to your beneficiary list for quick payments in future.
