Adding a Discussion Thread

Instructions
1. Log into Blackboard and select the course or organization in which you will be working.

2. From the course menu, click on the Discussion Board menu item.
3. Click on the name of the discussion forum to which you would like to add a thread. Note: This is your way of entering the Discussion Forum.

4. Click Create Thread to add a new thread.
5. For your convenience, the Forum Description is made visible in Section 1. In Section 2, enter a Subject and the Message content for your new discussion thread. In Section 3, attach any files you wish to include in your new discussion thread.
6. Click Submit. Note: You may choose Save Draft to keep a draft copy of the thread that can be opened, edited, and submitted at a later time.
