HOW DO I APPLY TO BECOME A SOUTHERN CONFERENCE FOOTBALL OFFICIAL?
Thank you for your interest in Southern Conference football officiating. Applications will be accepted and reviewed only in January and February of each calendar year. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION IS FIVE YEARS OF HIGH SCHOOL AND TWO YEARS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL OFFICIATING.
The Southern Conference officiating application is available here on our website. Download and complete the application and mail it, along with a recent head and shoulders photo, to:

Please note that you are to send only the application, photo, and your last two years’ schedule. No other materials such as tapes or DVD’s are necessary. Applications must be received by February 28 of each year.
Due to the size of the current staff and relatively limited turnover, only a small number of officials will be selected each season. If there is an opportunity to observe you in scrimmages, you will be contacted by the Southern Conference officiating staff.
