Boc-D (OMe)-FMK (Boc-D-FMK) is a cell permeable broad spectrum caspase inhibitor that irreversibly binds to the catalytic site of caspase proteases, and inhibits caspase mediated apoptosis by preventing the process of pro-caspases in there active form. The Boc-D (OMe)-FMK is O-methylated in P1 position on aspartic acid providing enhanced cell permeability and stability.
