TRAINING OFFICER

POSITION SUMMARY

? Facilitates and coordinates various clinical programs, courses, and in-services programs

? Designs new training programs to meet organizational needs

? Ensures that the curriculum for various training programs meet the required objectives

? Collaborates with facilitators when coordinating and scheduling workshops

? Observes and conducts education sessions in clinical areas as appropriate

? Prepares monthly and annual reports

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

? Ability to design and instruct clinical training programs (such as the Patient Care Technician course)

? Ability to pay keen attention to details ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ? Ability to work independently and under pressure ? Strong nursing clinical skills

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

? Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and registration with the Nursing Council of the Bahamas

? Two plus years experience (Bachelors Degree in Nursing Education preferred)

? BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider and instructor ? Training certification preferred
