DOCTORS HOSPITAL WEST

Following a full external audit of the business model at our Blake Road facility, we have made some changes aimed at improving the bottom line. No longer Bahamas Medical Center, we have undergone a name change and rebranding exercise to leverage our established brand ? Doctors Hospital West. We have also closed the traditional gym model and are focusing on outpatient Rehabilitation Services which has proven more profitable and in line with our core business.

EXTENDED CARE

With the opening of an East Bay St facility, our health system will also launch the first skilled nursing facility in The Bahamas. This facility will provide extended care to patients who do not require the acute care provided in a hospital setting but who need more care than can be given at home. Additionally, the facility will feature a medical residence where out of town patients can secure affordable accommodation while undertaking outpatient healthcare services. The Medical Residences will also provide an affordable alternative for the visiting family members of our Extended Care and Hospital inpatients.

L.A.M.P.

We recognize that our customers have options and so in order to thank them for continuing to choose Doctors Hospital Health System for their healthcare needs, we are launching a rewards program. The Loyalty Advantage Membership Program (L.A.M.P.) will reduce the wait times for L.A.M.P. customers, enhance accessibility and offer reward points that can be redeemed within the Doctors Hospital Health System, resulting in savings for the customer. We anticipate that this innovative new program will encourage patients to choose DHHS for all their healthcare needs and encourage others to become valued patients and L.A.M.P. members.
