BECOME A PROVIDERAll FCC Providers receive training on child growth and development, child abuse prevention and reporting procedures, positive guidance and more! Providers are needed for evening/night shifts, extended duty care, home community care and returning home care, weekends or TDY, and hourly care. Hill AFB is seeking providers to care for children with special needs including (but not limited to): asthma, allergies, cerebral palsy, HIV/AIDS, physical impairments, ADHD, autism, Down syndrome etc. The FCC program approves providers, employs staff and accepts children with chronic health issues. WHY BECOME A FCC PROVIDER?Enjoy working out of your home, while caring for your own children and owning your own business while adding to the family’s income without having to work outside the home. UNLICENSED CAREAny military ID card holder providing childcare in their home for more than 10 hours per week must be licensed. Unlicensed childcare may result in the loss of Base Housing privileges. If you suspect someone of providing unlicensed childcare please call 777-0695, a child’s wellbeing may depend on your call. Individuals that have not been approved to be FCC providers should not be permitted to advertise or post notices in publications or bulletin boards. FCC PROVIDER CONTRACTSAll FCC Providers must have a written contract for parents to carefully read prior to signing and agreeing to care. The FCC Office does not regulate provider’s contracts or fees. Please review the FCC Providers house of operations, fees, closures, sick days, and back-up care policies. Parents are highly encouraged to request a copy of the signed contract. PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEEParent Advisory committee (PAC) meetings are held monthly, typically on the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at the Child Development Center (CDC) from 1130-1230 and a free lunch is provided. Extended Duty Care: For duty-related reasons beyond typical 50-hour childcare arrangements.Pre Deployment Care: Military members may qualify for 16 hours of free care before a 30 day or longer deployment.During Deployment Care: Military member’s spouses may qualify for 16 hours of free care for EACH month during a deployment. Returning Home Care: Military members returning from a deployment for 30 days or more might be eligible for 16 hours of free care. Hours must be used within 60 days of return.Home Community Care: Reservists that are required to work the primary UTA weekend might qualify for HCC.
