Part 5 - Application SubmissionPlease send this form with the above mentioned documents to:hiamedia@.qaFor further information, kindly contact the HIA Commercial Department:Ms. Nina MathewCorporate Communications OfficerTel: +974 5578 4901Once your application has been received and approved, you will be contacted by HIA.Please refer to Part 6, Airport Pass Requirements.Kindly note that applications without the required documents will not be processed.Airport Pass Application RequirementsPart 6 - DocumentationIn order to apply for the HIA Airport Pass, please submit the following documents:Copy of valid passport (explicitly highlight the cameraman on the copy)Copy of the residence permit or visa page with the entry stampPassport size photo (white background)Airport pass application, typed electronically, stamped and sealed from the company submit all of the above to the Airport Pass Office:Airport Pass OfficeImmigration Building, Block AHIA MidfieldDoha, QatarOpening hours: Sunday to Thursday 07:00 – 15:00 hrsUpon submission of the complete application documents, the process time for the issuance of the passes takes up to three working days.Part 7 - Receipt of PassAfter approval by the Ministry of Interior, the airport pass will be issued and you will be informed to collect from:Airport Pass OfficeImmigration Building, Block AHIA MidfieldDoha, QatarOpening hours: Sunday to Thursday 07:00 – 12:00 hrsThe following fees have to be paid when collecting the pass:One Day Pass Fee:10 QAROne Month Pass Fee:50 QARSix Months Pass Fee:200 QARAnnual Pass Fee:300 QARThe payment can only be done with credit card (except American Express). Cash will not be accepted.Exceptions: All government companies are exempted from paying the fee.Note: After completion of the shoot, please return all passes to the Airport Pass Office.Part 8 – Day of ShootPlease inform your HIA contact upon arrival at Hamad International Airport.Throughout your time at HIA you will be assigned a member of staff to accompany you and provide assistance with airport matters.After completion of the shoot, please give notice of departure.Part 9 - Safety & SecurityWhile using any type of camera equipment at the airport premises, you must adhere to the following rules:The crew members are responsible for their own safety when working at the airport.Each individual member of your team must display their airport pass visibly at all times while at the airport and wear any additional safety clothing or footwear when required.For security reasons, all equipment and belongings must be attended at all times.Your staff has to ensure that the shooting will not cause any operational disruption while at the airport.Items considered as “Dangerous Goods” are strictly prohibited.No film footage or stills of any kind are to be taken of security processes staff or equipment.Your staff has to comply with all airport bylaws.Part 10 – Insurance & LiabilityApplying companies are required to produce evidence of the following relevant insurance policies for the entire duration of the project:Public / Third Party Liability of not less than QR 5,000,000 for any type of accidentWorkmen’s Compensation / Employers Liability as per statutory Qatari LawFor projects taking place on the tarmac and/or around an aircraft, evidence of an airside liability coverage of minimum of USD 1,500,000 or higher must be produced. Separate approval has to be obtained from HIA for those projects.Part 11 - Upon Completion of the ShootApplying companies must agree to provide a copy of the final footage (still or video) to Hamad International Airport for archiving purposes.
