Answers to contractors' questions posed:

Q. 1. Will requests for cabling be made for minimum quantities such as one or two cables or will the work be scheduled for larger quantities? A. 1. This is documented in the bid specifications and we indicated that a minimum request size is 3 runs.

Q. 2. Will there be an opportunity to do a on site review of the three locations prior to the bid?, if yes please let us know the procedure. A. 2. Yes, we can accommodate a walkthrough. To make an appointment contact Tim Burger at tburger@bergen.edu. All appointments must be requested by 2 pm Friday October 23, 2020. Upon request we will reach out to our Public Safety department and coordinate a date and time to grant access to the buildings. Appropriate PPE (face masks) will be required for anyone coming on campus, along with temperature scans and a screening questionnaire.

Q. 3. Will the drawings ref: Management Telecommunication Documentation be required as part of the bid package? Or be required as part of the scope of work? A. 3. The drawings will be required each time cable runs are completed. Should you be awarded the contract we would provide floorplan drawings of the buildings with the IDF locations marked. Each time runs are requested we would require a drawing showing the cable paths used from the idf to the end user location to be submitted along with the "end user" port information.

Q. 4. The actual bid itself seems to be based upon a single drop x the potential 500 drops. Do you want an addendum that reviews additional details or build everything into the one drop price? A. 4. We are looking for a fixed price per drop. We have estimated that over the duration of the contract there will be around 500 drops (based upon past experience).
