Local schools, preschools, and daycares are collecting box tops for education coupons. To donate simply clip coupons from participating products and drop off at the school of your choice. The schools earn money based on the number of box tops that they collect.



Cars for Kids

Donate your old car to this program and receive a tax deduction. The towing, key, and title work are free. They send the tax report. The vehicle does not even have to run.

Stacey's Hope is accepting donations of household items, furniture, bed linens, towels, toys, small appliances and many other things that are needed for families to make a home. These items can be new or gently used. Donations can be dropped off by appointment or they can sometimes be picked up at your location. These items will go to families in need in central Pennsylvania.

The Burnham Lions Club has been collecting used eyeglasses, frames, sunglasses, and hearing aids. These items will be taken to the Lions Club International in Arlington, VA to be cleaned, repaired and distributed to needy people around the world.

Key to Life Church of God is sponsoring a medicine bottle drive. The medicine bottles will be donated to third world countries who's citizens can receive medicines but have nothing to put them in. Donations can be dropped off at Nennie's Caf? in downtown Lewistown.

Skills of Central PA recycles old computers and computer equipment for free. This program is a safe way to recycle your computer, all data is destroyed and you can obtain a certificate of destruction by request. The computers are disassembled by hand, and the materials that they demanufacture are then sent to other various companies for testing, and/or refurbishing.
