DOW JONES RETIREE REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT
RETIREE REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT INFORMATION
A Retiree Reimbursement Account (RRA) is considered a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) under Internal Revenue Service guidance for use in an employee's retirement years. The RRA account accumulates over time with employer contributions. The allocated Benefit Dollars are used to pay for specified Eligible Medical Expenses such as deductibles, coinsurance, copays, over the counter materials & supplies, prescriptions or Premium Expenses during retirement with all the tax benefits of an HRA.
The Retiree Reimbursement Account: lets your employer allocate tax advantaged dollars for certain Eligible Medical Expenses
and/or Premium Expenses for when you retire; allows you to save or spend Dow Jones allocated Benefit Dollars in your RRA for
Eligible Medical Expenses and/or Premium Expenses; pays for certain Eligible Medical Expenses and/or Premium Expenses as determined by
Dow Jones once eligible as a retiree, which is defined in the Dow Jones Retiree Summary Plan Description (hereafter referred to as a "Retiree"); and offers health information, tools and support.
Important The RRA is available once you are eligible as a Retiree until death. As a Retiree, you will have access to the RRA account for Eligible Medical Expenses and/or Premium Expenses as determined by Dow Jones. Terminated RRA participants may incur eligible expenses through the end of the month in which termination occurs, and submit those expenses up to 90 days following the end of the Plan Year in which termination occurred.
Please read this SPD thoroughly to learn how the Retiree Reimbursement Account works. If you have questions contact OptumHealth Financial Services (OHFS) at (877) 298-2305.
