Retalix to Incorporate Windows 7

with Retail and Supply Chain Software

DALLAS – Nov. 11, 2009 – Retalix® (Nasdaq-GS: RTLX) today announced that it will integrate Microsoft Corp.’s Windows 7 operating system with its retail and supply chain software.

The Retalix will use Windows 7 across its entire product line, including:

• Retalix Transportation Management – Software that automates and optimizes a distributor’s freight planning, procurement, execution, settlement and visibility with supplier collaboration. It also creates additional revenue by identifying backhaul and freight hauling opportunities.

“Windows 7 offers the latest operating system tools from Microsoft, and will help further enhance our software offerings for retailers and distributors,” said Reuben Halevi, president, Global Supply Chain Division at Retalix. “The new system will be seamlessly integrated into our solutions, and will help give our clients increased productivity and operational efficiency.”

Windows 7 capabilities and features include the following:

• Multitouch operation with Windows Touch allows users to control the device by touching the screen, while receiving visual feedback for touch and multitouch gestures (available with Windows 7 Professional for Embedded Systems and Windows 7 Ultimate for Embedded Systems).

• Enterprise connectivity enabled by Microsoft DirectAccess and BranchCache provides a more secure and flexible network infrastructure to remotely update device application data (available with Windows 7 Ultimate for Embedded Systems).

• Legacy support through Windows XP Mode provides a virtual Windows XP environment in which OEMs can run existing Windows XP applications on a Windows 7-based device (available with Windows 7 Professional for Embedded Systems and Windows 7 Ultimate for Embedded Systems).

“We’re excited to extend our long-standing partnership with Retalix,” said Brendan O’Meara, WW Industry Managing Director, Distribution & Services at Microsoft. “Many have been anticipating the release of Windows 7, and we’re excited to deliver the benefits of the new operating system to retailers through trusted sources — and high-quality solutions — like Retalix and its retail and supply chain software.”
