Slide notes

In Fusion Financials,we have made significant investments in Rapid Implementation to simplify user experience during configuration. Using spreadsheet efficiencies, the process of configuring Fusion Assets is now simple and rapid.

In three steps you can specify your initial assets configuration.

First, intelligent defaults help you to configure asset structures such as categories, physical locations, and asset key flexfields.

Second, you specify one-time conversion related options such as starting asset number and starting depreciation period.

Third, you refine the setup data for books and category book defaults.

You can keep this configuration updated by adding new asset categories, locations, or asset books as needed.

Keeping your assets configuration aligned with your business needs is now simple and easy.

First, consider your conversion needs to provide the starting asset number and depreciation periods. This should help you to ensure a smooth conversion later.

Second, if you are considering the use of multiple corporate books, then you need to ensure that the clearing accounts are unique across your corporate books to ensure your source lines can be easily mapped to the appropriate corporate book to leverage Fusion Payables and Fusion Asset integration.
