Connecting to a machine (Same for Raspberry Pi): Steps: 1. Open Connection (found top left corner) 2. Choose SFTP from the dropdown (SFTP - SSH FIle Transfer Protocol) 3. Enter server information (ex: stargate.cs.usfca.edu) 4. Username (ex: rmavidipalli for stargate it would be your myUSF username) 5. Password (ex: 123456 last six digits of your student-id) 6. Add to keychain ? Optional
Click on Open Connection
Enter your details
You should get something like this after validation Editing code on the server without continuous transfers:
Steps: 1. Go to CyberDuck > Preferences > Editor 2. Choose the editor you would like to use for editing (ex: Sublime Text) 3. Close the application and reopen 4. Navigate to the file you would like to edit on CyberDuck 5. Right click on the file in the dropdown you should be able to see "edit with" click on it and edit your code! Every time you hit save it changes the file on the machine. No need of transferring the file again.
Pick your editor Click on Edit With
