Handy ResourcesHow to refresh database staging environments for Azure Synapse Analytics It’s common for large data analytics solutions to have multiple staging environments such as development, testing, and quality assurance to ensure stable feature releases to production. When using SQL analytics capabilities within Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly known as SQL Data Warehouse), it’s recommended to decouple these environments in separate databases to ensure these environments do not impact one another and periodically refresh these staging environments with production data. Oftentimes this refresh can be simply achieved through the database backup and restore capabilities which can be done cross or in-place a logical SQL Server. Many developers have multiple subscriptions or resource groups hosting each of these environments and would like to also refresh by restoring environments across these two boundaries. This blog outlines how to simply refresh and sync your staging environments with production data when environments reside in different Azure subscriptions or resource group. The plugin runtime is hosted in a sandbox, an isolated and secure Python environment. The python() plugin capability extends KQL (Kusto Query Language) native functionalities with the huge archive of OSS Python packages. This extension enables you to run advanced algorithms, such as ML, AI, statistical, and Time Series Analysis as part of the query. KQL tools aren't convenient for developing and debugging Python algorithms. Therefore, the best practice is to develop the algorithm on your favorite Python IDE such as Jupyter, PyCharm, VS, or VS Code. When the algorithm is complete, copy and paste the python code into KQL. To improve and streamline this workflow, Azure Data Explorer supports integration between Kusto Explorer or Web UI clients and VS Code for authoring and debugging KQL inline Python code. Building a React Native module for Windows React Native offers a wide range of modules to extend the core functionalities of the platform, developed either by the community or by the React team himself. These modules range from UI controls, helpers and services. Some of them are "generic" and they perform tasks which don't require access to any specific platform feature. For example,?Redux?is a very popular state management library used in React applications but since, by default, everything is stored in memory, it basically runs everywhere. In fact, the same library can be used either with web applications (using React) or native applications (using React Native).
