ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR ON LINE COMP 100 (OL 100)
The students must, at least, have the following requirements
o Own an IBM PC or compatible.
o Own MS Suite 2003 or better (MS Word, Excel, Access, etc)
o Have a “net connection account” (ISP).
o Have a CSUN email account
o Download SSH from ITR
o Download VPN from ITR
o Be able to connect to the internet.
o Know basic ms word.
o Know basic computer skills:
o Turn on the computer
o Print documents
o Save documents to the hard disk and to a memory stick
o Create new folders
o Know how to connect to the internet.
o Know how to create and receive emails.
o Know how to attach files to emails.
o Know how to chat in the internet.
o Be able to type adequately ( that is fast enough to chat ).
o Know how to send and receive documents through the internet
o Be able to study and learn on your own .
o Be able to chat at a specific time that will be determined at the beginning of the semester.
