Instructions for Installation EZAnalyze for Mac MS Office 2011CAUTION: EZAnalyze does not work in Office 2008 or 2004 for the Mac. Start Excel. If the first window that opens is the Excel Workbook Gallery, click on the box in the lower left of the screen that says Don’t show this when opening Excel.Quit Excel. Start Excel again to check that it is working properly. A standard workbook page should appear automatically without the Workbook Gallery Page. Quit Excel.Go to on EZAnalyze/Download.Follow “Before you Download.” You must answer the survey questions. Don’t worry; this isn’t for spam, and you won’t get any email.Agree to the license.Download the Manual EZ3.0 version without the automatic installer. It’s very important to do the manual installation. Do not open the downloaded file. The file is named EXAnalyze3.xla. Save the file to the desktop or somewhere where you can easily access it. You now need to load the file in a place where Excel can find it. Open the following folder:Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/Add-InsDrag the EZAanalyze3.xla file that you downloaded into this folder.Now open Excel. (see note below)Go to Tools menu in Excel. Select Add-Ins… You should see EZAnalyze Version 3.0 appear on the top of the Add-Ins available list. Click on the box next to EZAnalyze to select it. Caution: Do not select Solver.Xlam if it is available. If EZAnalyze is not on the Add-Ins list then go back to step 10 and make sure you have stored EZAnalyze in the Add-Ins folder.Click on OK. EZAnalyze? will now appear on the Menu bar.Note: If when opening Excel you get a message that asks if you want to disable macros, answer no. EZAnalyze is a set of Excel macros and will not function if macros are turned off. Macro viruses are fairly rare on Macs—if they do appear they usually come from Excel files traded via email or thumb drives, so exercise caution. You can turn off the macro warning which tells you if you have a file with a macro in it in the Excel preferences (Preferences/Sharing and Privacy/Security). ................
