MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS

DELETE ARCHIVED INSPECTIONS

Inspection images do not take up much space, and maintaining a history of inspections processed is a valuable tool in the event of technical problems. However, if space is a concern, you can use this function to remove completed and transmitted inspections from your system. Please contact CARCO if you have any further concerns about deleting inspections.

ABOUT CARCO INSPECTION MANAGER

A CARCO Customer Service representative, in the event of a problem with your software or configuration, would use this button located on the Main Menu. It can be used to check the version of CARCO Inspection Manager Software you are running, and view the transmission log file.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

PC

Pentium-II or higher, 128mb RAM.

Internet

An Internet connection is required. Broadband or High-speed is recommended, but our software will work with a dial-up connection.

Scanner

Most Flatbed, USB, Twain scanners can be used with our software. However, some multi function (Printer/Scanner/Copier) units might not work with our system. CARCO will walk you through a series of tests in order to confirm if your system will work. The scanner needs to be settable to perform Black and White (not grayscale) scans with a resolution of 150 to 200 DPI.

Digital Camera – Our software is designed to work with ANY digital camera. However we recommend that your camera be settable to a low resolution, such as 640x480 or 1 mega pixel. A file size of greater than 500 KB may be rejected by our system.
