Loudoun County Public Schools has a single-sign on platform, LCPSGo, for software purchased from the district.

LCPS go can be accessed at http:// go. or via the LCPSGo App (available for Apple and Android) Students can access a multitude of programs via LCPSGo using their network login: Username: Student ID Password: mmdd (birthdate)

The LCPS Go icon is listed throughout this brochure indicating which software can be accessed through LCPSGo.

Is a blended learning platform allowing teachers to assign, post, and give feedback to the students within the shared digital classroom environment.

DISCOVERY EDUCATION

An electronic textbook and repository of instructional videos, Discovery Science Techbook combines different types of media to explain and reinforce complex cross-cutting science concepts.

Math

ALEKS is a Web-

based, artificially intelligent assessment and learning system. ALEKS uses adaptive questioning to determine exactly what a student knows and doesn't know in a course. ALEKS then instructs the student on the topics he/she is most ready to learn. As a student works through a course, ALEKS periodically reassesses the student to ensure topics learned are also retained.

students develop fluency with their basic facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

DREAMBOX is also

a Web-based, math program which utilizes adaptive technologies to continually support conceptual understanding, fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, while moving a child along a unique learning path in math.

Access Dreambox at home and school through Clever On the IPad you must have the iPad APPs (Dreambox recently put out an additional iPad APP, Dreambox Blue.

From Dreambox... "To fit our large variety of math lessons and allow for more rapid release of content, we are splitting the DreamBox Math app into DreamBox Math Green and DreamBox Math Blue. DreamBox Green contains instructional content for grades K-5. DreamBox Blue contains instructional content for grades 5-8. We recommend installing both apps because students may see content spanning multiple grade levels. When this happens, the student will seamlessly switch to the companion DreamBox Blue app."
