The UTSA Roadrunner Battalion participates in Veteran’s Day Festivities across San Antonio during the week of Veteran’s Day 2018. In conjunction with the AFROTC Det. 842, the ROTC programs will conduct a Pass in Review on 08NOV2018. There are many other events TBD after a decisive joint meeting with AFROTC and other UTSA program representatives on 041500SEPT2018. MISSION. The UTSA Roadrunner Battalion conducts Veteran’s Day Festivities on 08NOV2017 through 11NOV2017 along with AFROTC Det. 842 at the UTSA Main Campus IOT honor our Nation’s veterans and build morale within the Battalion.mander’s Intent. Cadets perform Veteran’s Day Festivities at the UTSA and Satellite campuses in conjunction with other entities IOT develop interagency competence, build a greater appreciation for veterans and increase drill and ceremony confidence.Purpose. To teach the Roadrunner Battalion how to conduct a Pass in Review with AFROTC to promote the presence of the UTSA ROTC programs and honor our nation’s veterans.End State. Cadets have a better understanding of drill and ceremony, specifically, conducting a Pass in Review. Concept of Operations. To Be Determined.Unit Mission Support. HHD, ACO, BCO, CCO, DCO HHDC/LTC Prior provide oversight with OIC, C/CPT Destinee Garcia, and NCOICs, TBD, ensuring Veteran’s Day Festivities are conducted with full Battalion support.C/CSM Tran will maintain accountability and inspect the Pass In Review formation.Be prepared to supply at least 24 MSIVs for the Pass in Review ASU Formation.ACO, BCO, CCO, DCOTrain cadets in Drill and Ceremony.Promote outside activities during week of Veteran’s Day.Disseminate event information and provide cadet names to NCOICs.Staff Mission Support. S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6S1. Provide personnel accountability onsite.S2. Monitor weather conditions leading up to Veteran’s Day Festivities, notify OIC of changes.Publish Storyboards for all Veteran’s Day Events.Provide ROO Team Recruiting Efforts.S3. Review and publish Veteran’s Day products (i.e. WARNORDs, FRAGORDs, OPORD).S4. Coordinate with Mr. Moya for Contracted Cadets KYLOC Processing.Provide Logistical Support for Recruiting Efforts and Pass In Review Formation.Manage Set-Up / Tear-Down Efforts.S5. Continue walking south and pass between the MH and BB building and arrive at the Sombrilla Plaza.Pass In Review Formation & Key Personnel Location:The Pass In Review Marching Formations will face the Roadrunner Statue during the ceremony and move in a counter clock-wise rotation around the Sombrilla Plaza. The “Security Cordon” will border the Sombrilla Plaza and consist of MSI/MSII/MSIII cadets who do not have ASUs, uniform is Polo & Khakis. ................
