Subject: Reunion Coordinator

The Albuquerque October 2009 Reunion will be my last as Reunion Coordinator. The reunions were started November 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, starting in 1988, we have had 15 reunions including 2009. I have had a lot of helping planning these reunions and appreciate all the support from the 9TH Ordnance Battalion Personnel.

What made these reunions worth while was the meeting and getting to know all the people originally in the 1st VHAS/9th Ordnance Battalion, getting reacquainted with the people that went to Germany and the new people that join the 9th after I rotated back to the states. It was great to see old friends meet for the first time in years.

I will continue to keep the rosters up to date and keep you up to date via Email and answer any letter and telephone calls. This means keeping your E-mail addresses, mailing addresses and telephone number updated to me. If I hear from you, you will hear from me.

I am hoping someone will step forward to continue the reunions. I will /would hate to see the reunions end because nobody stepped forward. I will assist the person/ people who step up to the task with all the information I have used to plan these reunions. My help and information is as close as a telephone call or E-mail.

A quick reminder to mark the reunion dates on your calendars along with the Hotel and Bus Tour dead line reservation dates. Be sure to include the Bus Tour fee with your reservation.
