Cleaning Instructions

Shutter ReNu Cleaner Concentrate is specifically formulated to clean vinyl surfaces and remove oxidation, mold, mildew and algae. Shutter ReNu Cleaner Concentrate contains no solvents (no V.O.C.'s).

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Mix 1 part Shutter ReNu V.O.C. Free Cleaner Concentrate to 9 parts water in a pump-up garden sprayer, bucket or spray bottle. Apply cleaner to no more than 2 shutters at a time. Use a soft-bristled scrub brush and scrub shutters and in between slats gently to remove ALL chalking, dirt, mold/mildew, etc.

2. Rinse thoroughly with a garden hose. DO NOT ALLOW CLEANER TO DRY ON SURFACE. If cleaner dries, re-wet shutter, scrub and rinse thoroughly. It is important to remove ALL the cleaner before applying Shutter ReNu.

3. Allow the shutters to dry completely before applying Shutter ReNu.

STEP 1. Clean shutters using Professional Grade Shutter Renu Cleaner included in your kit. Read Cleaner instructions below carefully.

STEP 2. Use a quality paintbrush to apply Shutter ReNu. Apply a second coat after first coat is completely dry (about 1 hour). If shutters are extremely faded, may require third coat. Immediately wipe off any Shutter ReNu from glass windows with damp cloth. Note: Shutter Renu will restore the color of faded vinyl siding, so any product brushed on vinyl will change the color of the vinyl.
