Daily Empty the chamber each morning and pour new distilled water into the chamber before next use.

Weekly (or if needed sooner): Wash the PAP (6ft), (2ft) tubing and mask in a soapy water solution (use dish detergent that is not opaque and is not antibacterial and does not contain bleach), i.e. Dawn, Joy, Palmolive, clear Ivory. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry.

Twice weekly: Disinfect the humidifier cannister by soaking in a solution of 1-part white vinegar and 1- part tap water for 30 minutes. (This is after they have been washed in a soapy water solution.) Rinse with clean water and allow to air.

Weekly:

Wipe down the exterior of the ventilator with a cloth dampened (NOT dripping wet) with water. If there is debris on the exterior surface of the ventilator, a cloth dampened (NOT dripping wet) with isopropyl alcohol may be used.

Remove and rinse the ventilator filter with clean tap water. Squeeze all excess water out of the filter and allow to dry before placing it back in the filter receptacle.

Monthly: Replace disposable circuit tubing and outlet filter. Call to order supplies one (1) week before you need them. Please use the supply order list given to you by your Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Heated Humidifier: Use distilled water only. Replace chamber every six months
