Students are strongly encouraged to copy the above due dates onto each assignment as soon

as possible. Assignments and/or due dates may change and/or additional assignments given.

If changes or additions occur, students will notified as far in advance as possible. Assignments

are to be done before class begins on the due date. Most assignments will gone over in class. However, most assignments will not be collected until the end of the unit. Students are encouraged to change or add top the information on the assignments while those assignments

are being gone over or before handing them in. Students should not be doing assignments while they are being gone over in class.

QUIZZES and TESTS

There will be at least one quiz during Part 1. The Quiz #1 - Oct. 15

date is listed on the right. All other quizzes given covers information

will be unannounced. For all unannounced quizzes, relating to S1 and 2

students may use their notes or assignment for that day.

The final test will will be given to students on Oct. 28. Final Test due Oct. 29 Students are to take the test home, work on it, then

return their test on October 29. The final test will

cover information form Part 1 and related materials.

Before starting Part 2 of this unit, students will spend several days looking at the 2008 Election. This will involve not only the Presidential election and how our President is elected but other aspects of the election process, specifically looking at the other races that are taking place plus a few other aspects of the 2008 election campaign.

Extra credit given for signatures obtained and turned in by October 10.
