SANDLOTT World Championship
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Start times are projected start times. Each team should be at the ballpark at least one hour prior to the scheduled time. Games will begin 30 minutes after the completion of the prior game.
1. Tournament rules must be played as handed out at the coaches meeting. Other copies of rules are null and void. All rules not covered in tournament rules are as per the rules of major league baseball.
2. Home team will keep the official scorebook. SANDLOTT officials will operate the scoreboard. Any discrepancy in score should be handled immediately.
3. Protests should be lodged before the next play and should be reported to the umpire. Protests will be handled on the spot before the game is continued. Call Mickey Hiter at 615-974-4537 cell
4. Each team will provide two new baseballs per game. Used Baseballs in good condition may be used as replacement balls. Baseballs may be purchased for $43 per dozen (no tax) at Shelby Park. In wood bat tournaments additional bats may also be purchased.
5. Send starting lineup to the pressbox no later than the umpire pre-game meeting
6. There will be no infield prior to games on the playing fields. All warmups will be in the outfield. On deck practice swings in on deck circle and not on sideline grass, no batting practice in the outfield, meet at home plate to congratulate opposing team.
Batting practice is available at some fields in batting cages.
7. Complimentary indoor hitting can be obtained by use of the Hit After Hit voucher. Each team may get one free hour of hitting (as a team) anytime during the tournament. Directions to Hit After Hit: I-24 east of town exit Harding Place. Turn left on Harding Place and go 1 1/2 miles to 705 Air Park Center Drive on the left. Call 615-399-2287 to make your appointment. Hit After Hit has a complete baseball pro shop if you have equipment needs.
8.. Please have your team in uniform and at Shelby Park 30 minutes prior to Opening Ceremonies. Report To right field side area near batting cages to line up for opening ceremonies. Opening ceremonies are mandatory for all teams.
9. NO COOLERS, NO ALCOHOL AND NO PROFANITY
10. Please observe the field requests: on deck practice swings in on deck circle and not on sideline grass, no batting practice in the outfield, meet at home plate to congratulate opposing team.

At Shelby Ave exit (same exit as Football Coliseum)
Go east on Shelby Ave and turn right at South 5th Street. Turn left at Davidson Street. Davidson leads straight into the park entrance. The field is located just past the Vinny Links Golf Course on the left. Turn left between the golf course and the baseball field.

1-65 south of Nashville exit onto Harding Place and go west. Turn right off Harding onto Granny White Pike. 1 1/2 miles Lipscomb U is located on Granny White Pike and you'll pass Stadium on left.

I-65 south of Nashville exit onto Harding Place and go west. Go 1 mile Harding Place and turn left onto Franklin Road. Go 1/2 mile to Lambert Drive Overton High School on the left.

Take I-65 south of Nashville to Old Hickory Blvd (Route 254). Go west approximately 3 miles. Turn left (south) on Chickering and it's a few hundred feet.

Take I-40 west of downtown Nashville. Exit I-40 at exit 199 Old Hickory Blvd (Route 254). Turn right on Old Hickory Blvd and turn left on Charlotte Pike and go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Sawyer Brown Road. School and field is 0.3 mile at 7555 Sawyer Brown road.
From Brentwood hotels exit I-65 north at the Old Hickory Blvd exit 74B and turn west on Old Hickory Blvd (Route 254). Stay on route 254 (for about 12 miles) until you reach Charlotte Pike. Turn left on Charlotte Pike and go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Sawyer Brown Road. School and field is 0.3 mile at 7555 Sawyer Brown Road.

From Nashville go I-24 east to Bell Road exit. Turn left toward Hickory Hollow Mall and go under inter-state. Ezell Harding is approximately 2-3 miles on the right on Bell Road.

From North or west: I-40/I-24 to Fesslers Lane. (Just 2 miles southeast of downtown)
Exit right onto Fesslers Lane and turn right. Go to second light and turn right onto Murfreesboro Rd/Lafayette Street. Entrance to Trevecca U is approximately 1 mile on the left. Inside campus turn left at the roundabout and you'll see the ball field.
From the east or south: Exit I-40 and I-24 at Murfreesboro Rd. Go north on Murfreesboro Rd about 2 miles. Entrance to Trevecca U is on the left. Inside campus turn left at the roundabout and you'll see the baseball field.
