Position: Temporary Surface SupervisorLocation: Myra Falls Reporting StructureReports to: Surface Supervisor/Project Superintendent/Mill ManagerThe Role:The purpose of the role is plan and oversee operations, personnel and equipment to ensure the successful and safe construction of the Tailings disposal facility and associated infrastructure. Key Accountabilities:Demonstrate safe behaviour at all timesComply with the sites standards and procedures in SHECDrug and alcohol free camp and site environmentDemonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed SHEC goals in support of the site and company standardsReporting of all SHEC incidentsSupervisorSafety first attitudeReporting of SHEC incidents, equipment hours, man hours etc. in the formats required by project teamMust have bulk earthworks construction experience Must have experience in managing operators and personnelMust be able to plan work scope based on engineers plans and assign equipment and personnel as required by the planMust have an understanding of construction drawings and their implementationMust be able to work with surveyors, engineers, and QA/QC personnelUnderstand and obey hold points as identified by QA/QC personnelKnow and understand the limits of equipment and personnelHave good time management skillsWork with a teamGood communications with Mill and Surface operations to ensure construction activities do not interfere with mine operations Class 5 vehicle licenceMust be physically fit and able to carry out all of the duties of the position (12 hour shift)Shift rotations TBD Must have or be willing to obtain a BC Mine Supervisor Ticket ................
