Description

The E-Commerce Director is responsible for the overseeing, creating, implementing and performance of continuous maintenance of the company's web systems. The Director must develop a plan that is in line with the company's overall mission to sell products on line. The Director continually strives to enhance Bella Viva Orchards brand recognition and market presence with on-line shoppers.

Summary of key responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: ? Responsible for the overall business plan (long and short term) for Bella Viva Orchards e-commerce and any other third-party websites. ? Responsible for P&L of e-commerce sales. ? Identify initiatives that will drive e-commerce traffic, sales and on-line brand recognition. ? Maintain knowledge of current e-commerce selling strategies as well as strategies of major competitors. ? Manage on-line assortments, promotions, price management and overall product presentation with sales department. ? Ensure products are communicated effectively on-line to maximize item sales and increase profitability. ? Manage date integrity of pricing , product and information on e-commerce sites. ? Responsible for the planning, management and execution of monthly email newsletter and site updates. ? Review site traffic and sales in order to steer merchandising strategy accordingly. ? Coordinate with internal departments to ensure new accounts are set up and integrated effectively. ? Optimize on-line navigation and other e-commerce related analytics (click-path, conversion, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities) to increase profitability. ? Act as project manager for ongoing website improvements. ? Responsible for overall web design, functionality and display of information. ? Responsible for photography and video content and output. ? Responsible for search engine optimization and upgrades. ? Responsible for investigating and implementing PayPerClick methodology. ? Responsible for optimizing use of social media. (Face Book, You Tube etc) ? Provides ongoing tracking and analysis of user behavior through market analysis, competitive analysis and site analytics.

? Attends leadership meetings and responds to action items and directives initiated in those meetings.

Minimum qualifications: ? 3 years e-commerce management experience. ? BS/BA degree required. ? Strong analytical and quantative skills. ? Complete knowledge of products, margins, pricing and operational procedures relating to sales and fulfillment. ? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ? Excellent computer skills, proficient with HTML coding and awareness of e-commerce business models.

Physical requirements: ? Constant sitting, standing and walking. ? Occasional stooping/kneeling. ? Occasional pushing, pulling lifting and carrying 40 lbs.

Performance measurements: ? Increase in e-commerce sales. ? Increase in e-commerce margins and profitability.
