iTrent Shield Password reset? Non Networked employees

Overview

This document explains how you can reset your password if you have forgotten it. This guidance is only for employees that do not have a current ...@.uk email address. If you know your password and are looking for advice on how to log into ESS ? please refer to the quick-start guidance instead. You must have already registered your email address as a contact point for Multi Factor Authentication; if you have

not yet done this please refer to the registration guidance instead of this document.

Step 1

At the iTrent Login screen which can be accessed by clicking here, Click the Forgotten password? Link.

Step 2: Confirm your email address

? On the Password Reset screen, you will be prompted to verify your email address. Enter the email address you use to login to Employee Self Service then click the Send verification code button.

? You will shortly receive an email to the address supplied from Microsoft on behalf of pfidentityserver-euprod... with the title Verify your email address. The email will contain a 6digit numerical verification code.

? Enter the verification code from the email into the registration dialog and click the Verify Code button (Note the codes may expire after a period of time, use the Send new code button if you have an issue)

Step 3: Password Reset

? After successfully entering the verification code iTrent will confirm Email address verified. Click the Continue button to reset your password.

? Choose a new password and type it into both input boxes on the New Password screen. Remember passwords should be 8-16 characters in length and contain at least 1 each of uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers. Click the Continue button after filling in the new password fields.

? The iTrent screen should confirm you have successfully reset your password. Click the Continue button to continue with logging in to iTrent. (Refer to the quick-start guidance for further assistance if required.)
