You work at your own pace but will have due dates for all of your assignments. You may complete assignments sooner than your due dates. Once you log in and begin completing activities you will see your Grade to Date next to your course. By clicking on this score you will see your Course Activity Scores Report with all of your activities and their due dates. Your Grade to Date reflects your Quality of Work (actual scores) and you staying on schedule. If you are staying on schedule then your Grade to Date and Quality of Work will be the same. If you fall behind, your Quality of Work may be high but your Grade to Date will start to fall. The Progress Bar next to your course will show how much of the course you have completed. It will stay Green if you are on schedule, Yellow if you are a little behind, and Red if you are far behind.A Notebook should be used to keep your Course Activity Scores Report, Study Sheets, and written assignments. Pre-tests are located at the beginning of each unit in your course. If you achieve 70% or higher on the information covered in the test it will automatically apply those scores to quizzes in the unit. You will only have to complete lessons and activities for information you have not previously mastered. Study activities for each lesson in the course will provide the information you need to learn the lesson. You can review this information as many times as you need to understand the concepts. You need to check in the bottom right corner for additional pages in the Studies.Study Sheets are located at the top right-hand corner of every Study. These can be printed and used to take notes on the lesson. Your teacher may require you to complete this sheet for an additional reset on a quiz in which you did not achieve 70%. You may use the Study Sheet when you take the Quiz following a Study activity. I’m blocked???? You have two attempts to get 70% on each Quiz to open up the next Lesson. If you do not get 70% and are blocked you must print, complete and show the Study Sheet for that lesson to your Apex Teacher and they will reset your quiz for a third and final time. If you still do not achieve 70%, you will be issued your best score attempt on the quiz and permitted to move on to the next lesson. However, your overall score in the course must average out to 70% or better to pass the class. Written Assignments - Some assignments will need to be printed, completed, and turned into your teacher. Tests are at the end of each unit and you must take them in the presence of your teacher. Questions?????? Your Apex teacher can answer many questions. You can also find the answers to many Apex-related questions by clicking on Support next to your name. You must sign the attached Student Success Agreement and have a parent or guardian sign the attached Parent Agreement. Place both documents in your Apex Notebook.Student ApplicationFor which term is the student applying?
