September 8, 2017Dear Certified Trainers,The California Early Care and Education (ECE) Workforce Registry designed the training module and calendar to allow sponsor organizations and their training instructors the ability to post and manage training events, the training enrollment process, and the payment process, as well as post completed trainings directly to participant’s profiles, and generate reports all in one place. To comply with the ECE Workforce Registry’s request for all training organizations to participate, the Desired Results team requests all certified trainers to access the registry and request to be an instructor for WestEd Desired Results Training and Technical Assistance (DRTTA). To begin, log into your workforce registry account: On the left-hand side, please select Instructor Access Request. Type WestEd into the search box. Select the WestEd option specific to DRDP. Once you have accessed this option, you may add your agency’s trainings by following these steps:?Go to Instructor Tools. Under WestEd (DRTTA), click Event Management.Select Add Training and enter information in all the required fields. Note: Select Publish only if the training is open to the public for registration.Select Add Event (see the attached user guide for more information).After adding the training, follow these steps to share it with your participants:Go to Instructor tools.Click on Event Management.Click on View for the training you need to see.Copy the URL for that page.Send the URL link in an email to the administrator with the above instructions for their participants.Trainers need to?provide participants the following directions for them to sign up for the training. All participants must register for the training to receive credit or certificates through the site. Certificates can still be printed and given at the training.Log into your Registry account.Go to your email for the training and click on the workforce registry link in the email. A second window will open displaying the login page.Once on that page, register for the training.Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
