Gateways Night and Day Pharmacy

Policy

It is the policy of Gateways Night and Day Pharmacy to offer the service of ear piercing to those customers purchasing earrings from our pharmacy.

We offer the service to all adults, and children above 3 years of age and below 16 years of age with parental consent. A declaration forms needs to be filled out and signed before the procedure is to take place.

We always use an aseptic technique and may offer on our or the customer’s request the use of two piercing guns. This must be highlighted when making the booking ie to allow two staff members to be available.

In offering this service we highlight the need for customers to ask for an ear piercing during our preferred times and preferably by appointment. Preferred times are Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am-12pm and 2pm-5pm.

It is our policy to only pierce the lower ear on the ear lobe itself and no other part of the ear or body part.

We reserve the right to turn customers away if there are visible contraindications, which can prevent us in completing the service eg ear infections, multiple piercings that are too close etc…
