This is a display of the planet Jupiter. The purpose of this display is to show the uniqueness of Jupiter. Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System. It is the 5th closest planet to the Sun. It is made up of many gases.

In relationship with the Earth, Jupiter’s days are 10 hours long. The days on Earth are 24 hours long. It takes 12 years for Jupiter to rotate around the sun when it only takes 365 days for the Earth to complete one rotation around the sun.

If you weighed 100 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 264 pounds on Jupiter. Jupiter has a mass 318 times greater than the Earth's and a diameter that is 11 times larger.

Earth's and a diameter that is 11 times larger.
