No glass or tins.Reduce packaging / waste before you leaveAim for 4-5000 calories per day. Check calories on food and add them up. You must cook dinner.BREAKFAST: like a KING! Compulsory! NOT just a cereal bar.DRINK AND EAT! LOTS of water + energy: tea, choc.Measure out correct muesli / cereal; add dried milk and sugar if required into a strong food bag. One per day. At camp pour out ingredients, add water (hot?) and eat. Porridge or oats so simple (measure out into bag)Pitta / brioche; choc spread. Malt loaf etc. Bag food: beans and sausages all day b’fast. LUNCH: for energy. snack all day! Make up your own favourite trail mix.Do not stop and cook anything. Snack all day; short stops; frequent snacks. Drink water all day: dehydration is your enemy. Consider: dried pasta, rice meals, super noodles, add frankfurters or pepperoni sausage. Pasta and pasta sauces; curry boil in bag; add rice or even frsh veg (carrots)Check cooking time and check calories on “light or diet alternatives” (avoid)Add spices, herbs and sauces to transform a dull meal.
