Dean Close Easter Revision Course 2020
IGCSE/GCSE Economics
The objectives of the course will be to develop close reading skills, essay wring skills and to consolidate knowledge of the text. The student will have an opportunity to practise these skills in relation to a number of key areas and will be helped with techniques to improve performance.
You may notice that texts and questions included in each specification differ in some areas. We will try to place you in a class with other students covering the same specification; however this will not always be possible.
Please take some time to complete this questionnaire as we will be unable to cover the entire subject in the limited time. We will focus on the core areas that have the highest demand.
It is most important that the details are correct – if necessary check with your teacher at school. We are trying to meet your needs – if the details are incorrect then the usefulness of the Dean Close course for you could be severely limited.
Students must bring the following to course as they will not be provided by Dean Close:
1. Text books, notes, copy of their syllabus and anything else of use to the student/Easter Revision tutor
2. Relevant equipment to the subject they are studying e.g. calculator, ruler, protractor, pen, pencil, pad/paper etc
