Bless now this food that we partake and every effort that we make to build the towns in which we live and put it in our hearts to give to worthy causes. Bless the blind and all we do to serve mankind. Be with us until we meet again and bless our hands and homes. Amen.LIONS PRAYERLord, hear these Lions when they pray. We thank you for bringing us safely through another day. As we gather to give our reports and to dine, may we all remember the pledge we took when becoming a Lion: to attend all meetings and work together, helping others to some degree to live better. As we also work to help those who live in strife, we thank you Dear God, for granting us such a wonderful life. Lord, hear this our prayer, and may we continue to live and work in your care. Amen.PROTOCOLOrder of PrecedenceLions shall be recognized in the following order:District Governor**Immediate Past Council Chairman*Past Council Chairmen*Immediate Past District Governor*MD13 GMT Coordinator1st Vice District Governor*2nd Vice District Governor*Past District Governors*Cabinet SecretaryCabinet TreasurerZone Chairpersons*Assistant Zone Chairpersons*District GMT Coordinator*District GLT Coordinator*Club Presidents*Immediate Past Club Presidents*Club Secretaries*Club Treasurers*Past Club Presidents**LionsLionessesLEOsGuests *When more than one is present, recognize in alphabetical order.**When more than one is present, most recent serving is recognized first.Presiding officer of the meeting is recognized first.Mission Statement Lions Clubs International:“To empower volunteers to serve communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs."Lions Code of EthicsTo show my faith in the worthiness of my vocation by industrious application to the end that I may merit a reputation for quality of service. To seek success and to demand all fair remuneration or profit as my just due, but to accept no profit or success at the price of my own self-respect lost because of unfair advantage taken or because of questionable acts on my part.To remember that in building up my business it is not necessary to tear down another’s, to be loyal to my clients or customers and true to myself.Whenever a doubt arises as to the right or ethics of my position or action towards others, to resolve such doubt against myself. To hold friendship as an end and not as a means. To hold that a true friendship exists not on account of the service performed by one to another, but that true friendship demands nothing but accepts service in the spirit in which it is given.Always to bear in mind my obligations as a citizen to my nation, my state and my community and to give them my unswerving loyalty in word, act and deed. To give freely of my time, labor and means. To aid my fellow men by giving my sympathy to those in distress, aid to the weak and my substance to the needy. To be careful with my criticism and liberal with my praise, to build up and not destroy.DATES TO REMEMBERCABINET MEETINGSSaturday, Aug 22 Noon MansfieldWednesday, November 117:00 PM TiffinWednesday, February 177:00 PM HayesvilleSaturday, April 162:00 PMDistrict ConventionDoubletree Inn, 1100 Crocker Road, WestlakeZONE ADVISORY MEETINGS (7:00)1Aug 26 (Wed)Nov 2 (Mon)Feb 22 (Mon)2Sept 1 (Tues)Nov 3 (Tues)Feb 24 (Wed)3Sept 9 (Wed) Nov 16 (Mon)Mar 2 (Wed)4Sept 10 (Thur)Nov 18 (Wed)Mar 3 (Thur)5Sept 21 (Mon)Nov 9 (Mon)Mar 21 (Mon)6Sept 3 (Thur)Nov 23 (Mon)Mar 7 (Mon)7Sept 8 (Tues)Nov 30 (Mon)Mar 1 (Tues)8Sept 2 (Wed)Nov 3 (Tues)Feb 29 (Mon)DISTRICT GOLF OUTINGAugust 15 (Sun) MansfieldUSA/CANADA FORUMSeptember 17 - 19Grand Rapids, MichiganWINTER RETREATJanuary 15 – 17, 2016 (Fri - Sun) Maumee State ParkDISTRICT BOWLINGFebruary 7, 2016 (Sun) Lex Lanes, MansfieldDISTRICT 13 B CONVENTIONApril 15-17, 2016 (Fri – Sun)Doubletree Inn, WestlakeDISTRICT LEADERSHIP TRAININGMay 7, 2016 (Sat) Trinity Lutheran Church, AshlandSTATE CONVENTIONMay 20 – 22, 2016 (Fri - Sun) Embassy Suites, DublinINTERNATIONAL CONVENTION10350502298701831975278130145415278130June 24 – 28, 2016 (Fri – Sun) Fukuyoka, Japan-1200150513524500-1200150513524500WE SERVEOhio Lions, Inc.4074 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123(614) 539-5060 Fax: (614) 539-5055lionoffice@ ................
